What is the Digital Memories Trail?
The Digital Memories Trail is a county-wide digital history tour of the cities, townships and communities of Chisago County. Each Marker along the trail gives historical information, photographs and points of interest in that area. The Chisago County Board of Directors awarded CCHS with funds for this project in the Fall of 2024.
How does the Digital Memories Trail work?
Using the Main Map, travelers can access the location of Markers in each community around the county. The QR Code on the Marker is then used to access historic information about that area. Due to their size, some areas have multiple markers. Each of these markers gives the same historical information; it is not necessary to travel to each marker within a city or township.
Can the Digital Memories Trail be accessed online?
Individual Cities and Townships may post the link to their individual Digital Memories Trail information on their websites. A hard copy of these links can be obtained by emailing us at: info@chisagocountyhistory.org.
